Welcome to my site.
I had my BSc in Geology degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain.
Then I studied some postgraduate courses at the University of Oviedo with a speciality on carbonates developed on foreland basins related to active thrust and fold belts.
After a while working on Geothermal exploration and Uranium exploration I decided to change my career path, and went to the UK to study a MSc.
I had my MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geosciences from the University of Aberdeen (UK) to lead my career on petroleum. Here I focused on structural geology and seismic interpretation. My MSc project was about restoration and balancing applied to seismic interpretation: “Using Move2D to restore interpreted seismic sections on the VSA”
I am passionate about geology and when I’m not working I’m chasing volcano activity and quakes all over the world. That’s one of the reason I decided to start a blog about geology.
I’m working on this page. Improvements to be seen soon.
Thanks for passing by.
